Arizona Boho Stylized Bridal Affair | Sonja Stafford Photography, East Phoenix Wedding Photographer

Hey Ya’ll! So, I know I know it’s been over a year since I blogged last but I tell you I’ve been busy and life has been happening. Blogging took a back seat but I will say one thing I’m BACK and I am back with some vengeance and boy do I have a ton to catch you up on! Well, I’ve moved to Phoenix, Arizona where we have purchased a home and plan to stay. That doesn’t mean that I don’t miss Alaska however, I just won’t miss the frigid cold. I will be back in the Summer to still photograph weddings and everything else so Alaska folks please stay tuned for announcements on when I will be back. I’ve had a baby, sweet Liv she is now currently 8 months and just an absolute delight. I am so glad she is my third child and is a real fresh breath of air. Honestly, she never cries and is always smiling!

Last but not least just last month I started sub-leasing from a local photographer and now have a space to work out of in Tempe, Arizona. The studio is coming along nicely and it’s been so fun getting creative in a new space. However, let’s get back to the blogging…

I’m breaking the ole’ blog in with this gorgeous Boho stylized bridal session that I was a part of last month. A local wedding planner "Sessions Events” hosted a shoot out, which was my first time EVER doing something like that. All my past stylized bridal shoots were put on by me and some of my favorite friend-ors where I was the only photographer so if you’ve seen something similar floating around it’s because there were several other photographers present. I guess shoot-outs are a thing, I’m so not in the loop I guess…

As you can see Belen with Sessions Events did not disappoint I was over the moon on how this stylized shoot turned out and I was able to connect with some amazing local vendors. I will be posting different blogs from this same stylized shoot because there were three different sets of models as well as three different set ups and I feel each are worth their own blog.

Well one thing I want to give it up to is this lovely couple who were a delight to work with, Jessica and her husband are a power couple and were absolutely GORGEOUS! Gingerline Floral did the florals of this shoot of and they were ON POINT, the arrangements were grand and pure perfection. I loved the colors chosen for this shoot because they were soft and romantic, I’m sucker for blush and rose gold so they had me there. The cake was something like I’ve never seen before, the detail was insane. I mean HoneyBee Cake Co. is a pure artist and nothing short of amazing, I’ve been following her on Instagram ever since this shoot and she amazes me. Oh my and the dress, THE DRESS! Can I get married again? Because if I can I want THIS DRESS! It was absolutely stunning, my favorite part was the sleeves which can detach if you wanted, it was insane and I love anything LACE! You can find the dress at Lux Bridal, Downtown Phoenix. Well guys, I’m going to run but I dropped some images for you below for you to feast your eyes on and at the bottom of the page I’ve listed all the vendors involved so if you are looking and love what you see give them a call!
