Happy second day of Fall everybody! Although you don’t notice changing leaves or much Fall going on in the Phoenix area you can tell something is changing because in the evenings and early mornings there is a slight chill in the air. The chill feels like sweater weather however you’ll be peeling that sweater right off come lunch time because it’s back up to high 90’s again. However, I see leggings and oversized sweaters in the near future and that excites me!

So today I have a gorgeous couples session to show off, Sabrina use to babysit for me in Anchorage when she was going through school to become a teacher and she now lives with her handsome hubby and adorable puppy in the Phoenix area and is a Elementary Teacher here. I had asked if her and her husband would model for me and luckily they were more than happy to and I got some lovely images out of it. I asked the couple to meet me at Tempe Town Lake because every time I have passed by this bridge I desperately wanted to shoot there. What caught my eye about this bridge was it’s large arches and its architecture, it’s also right by Downtown Tempe and has a really cool modern urban vibe to it. Also, a body of water in PHOENIX? Ok-urrrr, yes please!

That evening we shot at golden hour and the lighting was pure perfection and I love the warm tones in these images. That evening was windy and it felt so great, the area was so festive with families everywhere, people riding scooters and everyone just enjoying the lake. That area was the place to be! Sabrina and Ryan were a joy to work with and I could tell they had done some modeling before because their posing was effortless in front of the camera. I hope to work with this lovely couple again the the future and I’m so happy for Sabrina! Check out the images below and please show me some love in the comments.
